Who knew?:
I didn’t know lots of them today: SEVE, NAS, DSL, NPRNEWS, TISH, LARGENT, ARLEEN, and KOH.  (Amazingly I knew LATOYA was Janice’s sister.)  I managed to do this in ink with no write-overs, due more to good puzzle construction than my skill.

Some Nits to Pick:
Like much rush hour traffic   STOPGO [the idiom is really “stop and go”]
