By the Way:
I don’t know for sure, but I’ll bet this grid (and clue list) contains more proper names than any other of its size in the history of Western Civilization, including L.A.

Who knew?:
Garfield’s favorite food was LASAGNA.  Idda thought truffles a la basilico.
