Creating, running crossword subscriptions?
« on: July 22, 2025, 10:16:11 AM »
I edit the crossword for a small, community paper, where people in the community actually know me as they see me and I see them while we are out and about.

Several of them of have asked me to start a subscription service to sell monthly packages from my archive of puzzles.

Until they asked, I had never thought about it.

Does anyone have any experience with this? How much to charge? Package options? Payment? Subscription management/logistics?

If not, might you know someone who does have experience in this area?

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

I have tried something similar and the easiest way which let's you start right away for subscriptions at least is Patreon. You can create different packages where your players basically donate each month and based on the package you can give various perks.

Are you looking for a digital solution or simply share the downloadable PDF with them once they subscribe?

Best,
Andrew
