CrossFire problem

Hello, from time to time when I add new words to my CrossFire app it just closes when I tap the red close button without the pop-up window asking you if you want to save the words to the dictionary. Does anyone have this happen and/or know what makes it happen? And, know know how to fix this before it chooses to right itself again? It's very maddening. Many thanks
