Why isn't there a search here?

Why does the forum not have a search bar? I have never seen a forum without a search bar. This would allow people to search for issues before posting something that might have already been addressed. The only way to search this form is to search on Google and add "site:cruciverb.com" to the search term like this:

There is a search form but for some reason the admin has chosen to hide it.

But the search has always been there. It's just that not everyone can see it. I saw it with my old account that I forgot the password for. So I made a new one, and now I can't see it anymore. Just bookmark this link and use it whenever you need to search for something on the forum: https://www.cruciverb.com/index.php?action=search
