What is taboo!?

Was wondering what is taboo in construction. Causes outright rejection!
To start, for example, what about a child star in a very popular well known show who later in life runs into trouble. The earlier character is still the character, but does the misdeeds of the actor as an adult tarnish anything earlier from being a clue and answer?

Depends on what venue and other factors. Check sites such as crosswordtracker and crosswordgiant to see if the person is appearing in puzzles.
