RIP Crooked Crosswords electronic version

As a subscriber, I received notification Crooked Crosswords will be print version only (Boston Globe) as of Jan 1 2019. Refunds being given as appropriate. I signed up using the “subscribe” link on Cruciverb home page. Time to remove that. RIP

I should note while we're talking about demises of electronic versions of puzzles, the Chronicle for Higher Education (CHE) has chosen to go print-only subscribe only in the New Year:

"After December 21, 2018, The Chronicle will publish new crossword puzzles only in the print edition. To subscribe, click here."

I don't know if you have it in any of your lists, but another good note.

Seriously?? Well that sure sucks. Who's got the time in 2019 to do crosswords only in print? I was hoping that more publishers would be making their content available on phones and tablets. Sadly, it seems to be moving in the wrong direction

Aren't crosswords submitted as PDF files? I can understand why the providers might not want the extra effort to create .jpz and .puz files, but emailing PDFs costs next to nothing.
