THEME:   last word of a phrase is a tree part, but it's covert
   
GOOD ONES:     
Retirement destination?   BED   
Alabama, but not Kansas?   TRIO   
Burning desire?   ARSON [not yet but in the heart]   
   
BTW:   
CET is not used in English.   
   
Superlative suffix   IEST [the suffix is -EST; the I is used when the root ends in -Y]   
   
RATING:    ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
