Possible Title:
Grid PlayTheme: Guess it’s the grid itself which pleases my sense of proportion
Good Ones:Lincoln’s place   CENT [I thought CURB because I had the C]
One who’s at home on the range?   COOK
n.b.  The cluing throughout was thoughtful and challenging making this puzzle fun.
By the Way:GUNN was the answer for the Mancini scored TV show, but the title was
Peter Gunn.  Ray Anthony played the trumpet, I believe.  The show and theme song were favorites of mine when we first got a TV set (’58 or 9).  Craig Stevens, Lola Albright, and Mother’s flashed back with this entry.  Thanks, Jeff, for the memory.
Some Nits to Pick:Not sure about RITARD; I think RIT is the abbreviation for
ritardando, but maybe some “retarded” list of abbreviations exists in support of the entry.
