Hi, I just registered and am new to constructing and using software. I have a couple of questions about word scores in Crossfire and can't find the answer in Beekeeper's documentation: what makes a word a high-scoring word? Is it unusual or considered high quality for a puzzle or what?
And what is the best score: 1 or 100? In the first puzzle I entered into Crossfire, I had a general word score of just over 38. I thought that was probably a pretty bad score on a scale of 1-100, but then I noticed that simple words like "star" or "see" had scores of 75, "shopworn" had a score of 8.
