Title: LAT Thu. 3/8 Julian Lim
Post by: magus on March 08, 2012, 08:40:19 AM
Possible Title: Hot Times

Good Ones:
Phrase from one who sees   ICALL [in poker]
Hair very apparent?   MANE

Theme: Terms which mean hot
Easily angered and {theme}   HOTHEADED

By the Way:
Julian must have been hungry for Asian food when he wrote this puzzle:  WASABI, UDON, SPICYTUNAROLL

Odd that in one puzzle we get Josephine TEY and NGAIO Marsh, two mystery writers popular when I was a boy.  (I didn’t know till after I read her that Ngaio was a woman.)

RATING:   ;D ;D Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun

Forgot to answer Monday's burning question:  the references are all thirty years or older.
