LOTS OF GOOD ONES!

"Pen pal?"   PIG
"Film involving stage scenes"    OATER [stage = stagecoach]
"Like a good loser?"    THIN
"Inaugural event"    OATH [never thought of the oath as an event]
"Took advantage of the buffet"    ATEALOT
"Ball user, maybe"    SEER [crystal ball]
"Gets to the point?"    TAPERS
"Lets go"   AXES [as in fires from a job]

I didn't care for "They're not behind you" for ANTIS because you might be an anti yourself.  If you are an anti-abortionist, other antis are behind you.  The clue needs a qualifier; "maybe" would work.

I also didn't like "Ind. neighbor" for PAK because India is really too short to abbreviate.
