GOOD ONES!

"Parting of the Pacific?"    ALOHA
"Cry near the ears?"    CAW [crows in cornfield]
"Great area?"   OUTDOORS
"Dance after getting a shock from an outlet?"  SOCKETHOP [theme answer]

It is most clever to add ET to common terms to make odd ones, like CORNETROW, and then use ETTU as a homophone to show that the letters ET were added to the common terms to make the odd term or phrase.
