I agree that "GITS" is not easy.  In fact, I have no clue as to what it means.  ??? Would you explain?

"Let's GIT out of here" more or less equivalent to "Let's LIGHT OUT of here", more southern US, I think.  A little awkward, but fine with the crosses I thought.
