LOTS OF GOOD ONES!   LOTS OF GOOD ONES!
"Record, nowadays"   TIVO
"Clip"    RATE
"Some toys"   POODLES
"The Sun or The Moon"   TAROTCARD
"They're about average"   CSTUDENTS [wonder if that's true today]
"Crack"   STAB
"Party lines?"   CONGAS
"Letters after C or MS"    NBC

ATHENA and REEVE were literary answers, which are today rarer than they were when I was making Xwords.  There wasn't much science then as there isn't today.  B.A. types tend to be constructors I guess.    :)
