Title: submitting a puzzle
Post by: gduck on March 17, 2011, 01:54:48 PM
I'm new, so bear with me! When submitting a puzzle, should a multiple-word answer have spaces to clarify meaning for the editor? eg computer speak, vs computer's peak. (not a stunning example, but you get the idea...) Thanks!

It's not necessary in most instances... particularly if the entry has appeared in puzzles before.  (Besides, the clue usually gives the parsing away).  However, if it's a theme entry with a peculiar wordplay involved, then you can explain it in the cover letter.

Just didn't want any of my clever  :P answers to get missed at first glance by a busy editor. Thanks for your response.
