Title: Too soon to bug WSJ?

I submitted a 21 x 21 to the WSJ 5 1/2 months ago, still haven't heard. Tempted to send a follow up but don't want to bug them prematurely, especially since they ask for patience in their submission requirements. Have I waited long enough?

All the editors are overwhelmed with submissions. My recommendation is to make more puzzles and submit them. As many as you can. Eventually the replies will start coming in.
