Title: Silly question- If I post a XWD here, can I no longer send it to publications?

Sorry for the trivial question- I'm new here.

If I post a puzzle on this forum for critique, does that make it ineligible for publication in the NYT or other papers?

Not a silly question. The answer is yes, as this is essentially a public forum. You should ask if anyone wants to critique it and share it with them privately. You'll find a lot more action on the Facebook group Cruciverb (not affiliated with this web site).
