Title: Looking for a mentor to help improve construction skills
Post by: FamilyPuzzler77 on May 11, 2021, 07:35:38 PM
Hi Cruciverb Community,

I'm a recreational puzzle maker who has been making 15x15 puzzles with Crossfire for family members, friends, and my girlfriend. And it has been really fun for all of us! I'd like to improve my construction skills, and would love the help of an experienced mentor. My ultimate goal is to get a puzzle published in a newspaper. FYI - I don't use Facebook (I mention this because in a similar post someone suggested posting in a Facebook group as a potentially more effective option).

Sincere thanks in advance for any help,
--Ben

Ben, I'd be glad to take a look at some of your work and perhaps give you some pointers to help you on your way. I don't use Crossfire, so I can't advise you on the use of the software, but I can review your work if you export it to a PUZ (AcrossLite) format. If interested in pursuing, please contact me by email (mcclain.salem@gmail.com).
