Title: Advice for constructing on small grids
Post by: Saul Pink on August 12, 2019, 02:10:43 PM
Hi all,

I'm trying to create puzzles for my school's newspaper. I decided that it would be better if I worked on 9x9 or 11x11 grids because students would be more likely to solve a smaller puzzle. I thought it would be a breeze, but I'm having a lot of trouble creating a grid that doesn't have too many long words aside from theme entries, and I keep ending up with unchecked squares and two-letter words. Any advice?
