Title: Way to open json file (or convert it)
Post by: ibynx on July 09, 2019, 07:36:08 AM
I have a library of json files, and can't open them with any of my crossword software. Does anyone know of software that can open them (preferably for Mac), or convert them? Thanks. I tried to attach an example but the forum's not letting me.

Working on that problem, myself.  Don't know when I'll have a solution, but if it's a similar format to what you have I'll be willing to share/help on whatever you got there.

Do you know which JSON-based format they are? IPUZ format puzzles should have the designation "version": "http://ipuz.org/(version here)" somewhere in the file. If that's the case, ipuz.org lists some compatible software, but your best bet is Pizzazz for iOS due to the app having ties with the creator of IPUZ.
