Title: Gold Member Status Delayed

I recently signed up for the site and made a PayPal donation so I could get gold status and access the database. I got a receipt from PayPal on Oct 22, how long does it usually take to process? Should I be worried that something has gone wrong now or just wait patiently?

Has anyone else reading this ever gotten gold membership?

If so, how long did it take for yours to work?

I got gold membership instantly when I made a donation, my paypal email matched my acct email so didn't have any issues. Don't know if that's a requirement or not, though I'd suggest contacting the admin with your details and receipt kmccann AT cruciverb.com or pm http://www.cruciverb.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1

Hmm. My emails also match, so I emailed kmccann. But so far it’s been radio silence. I’ll try emailing them again.

May I ask how long ago you paid for gold. Is it possible it used to work and now it doesn’t?

Don't worry too much I'm sure he'll get back to you in a timely manner, paid for my gold membership back in 2016, could be a recent issue.

Kevin just got me sorted out (plus a bonus year of membership to make up for the trouble) when I emailed again. Not sure what wrong the first try, but all is well now.

There have been issues with Gold Membership renewals. I need to do these by hand for now. WIll try to get this resolved once and for all.

I will monitor incoming PayPal payments every few hours, so that's about as long as you'll likely have to wait.
