Title: Sat., 10/5 Mark Bickham
Post by: magus on October 05, 2013, 09:25:31 AM
THEME:   none, but two triple gangs bisected by a 15-letter word

GOOD ONES:
DISCOMBOBULATED across the center is word I'll bet you haven't seen in a crossword.  Those with lists may have the word, but for most it's a new entry.  The same may be true of RAZZMATAZZ.  That both appear in the same puzzle seems doubly unusual.
Admired speaker   BOSE [not orator]

BTW:
Lock arrangement   COIF [I saw on Elementary last night a lock arrangement, but it was padlocks.  (The show is great fun.)]

Site of many rolls   CRAPS TABLE [I embarrassingly admit to having thought "spa for old men."]

I enjoyed the unusual fill thoughout, and the five Z's and two X's.

RATING: ;D ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
