THEME:   synonyms for "tire" are first words of phrases which when -ED is added changes the meaning of the original phrase
   
GOOD ONES:

Rolling rock?   LAVA [I thought of the famous beer]

BTW:   
FATIGUEDPANTS seems to me stretch pants.
