Title: Sat., 4/6 Wilber & Peterson
Post by: magus on April 06, 2013, 09:37:15 AM
THEME:   none with 32 blocks

GOOD ONES:
Small magazine articles?   BBS [not sure BB guns have magazines]
Chain that makes a lot of dough?   SBARRO
So-so connection?   AND
Note from abroad   EURO [what would the answer be if it were "a broad" --- Dear John?]

BTW:
Speaking point?   LECTERN [had it been "Talking Point" it would have been a good one]

We were double-teamed by Brad and Doug who didn't make it easy with a triple gang of BALLETFLATS, BLUECURACAO, and SLACKTAVIST and other stuff I didn't know, but the mark of a good puzzle, in my mind, is that there is enough to make the solution possible.

RATING:    ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
