Title: Cluing a famous name with a quote?
Post by: jmmp71 on January 23, 2009, 12:43:02 PM
Hi, everyone...new to this site, this forum and constructing in general but have been having a lot of fun with it.

My question: is there a generally accepted format for cluing a person's name using a quote of theirs?

Example - word in the grid I want to clue is PICASSO. Potential clues:

He said, "Art is the lie that makes us realize the truth."
"Art is the lie that makes us realize the truth," speaker
Speaker of the quote, "Art is the lie that makes us realize the truth."

etc. One of these or some other variation?  Thanks in advance for the tips!
