Title: WSJ Saturday Variety puzzles gone.
Post by: demoleon on July 12, 2026, 08:48:05 AM
Looks like the WSJ has revamped their puzzle page and eliminated their Saturday variety puzzles.  Anyone know where those puzzles may still be obtained?  Could they be supplied here like when the NYT got rid of their Sunday variety online?  I'm certainly not getting the print edition just to access these puzzles!

It's a bummer about the WSJ Saturday puzzles! They really added a unique twist to crosswords that many of us enjoyed. Any thoughts on how we can fill that void? Maybe exploring more themed puzzles could help!

xwordinfo.com  (http://xwordinfo.com)has variety puzzles online and every single NYT puzzle ever, most all that are possible in digital form (especially helpful for acrostics!!).  It costs as little as $20 a year and is worth its weight in gold.

They've started reposting the Variety Puzzles as of the last two weeks.
