IES is sloppy. The word fragments AROO, SNO and UNI are sloppy. And MAA is a "Kid's cry"? Really? Barry Silk must have been watching some of Mickey Rooney's Andy Hardy movies from the 1930s.
To Silk's credit, though, he used some words that I had never before seen in a crossword: BEERPONG, CELIBATES, DEWDROP, LUGNUT and WIFIZONE.
