How big a problem is it to have two theme entries with IN?
aposter:
It's not anything that enhances the theme. Just a coincidence.
mmcbs:
The repetition of "little" words (those typically not capitalized in titles) is not a problem for most venues.
aposter:
Yeah, I've heard that stated generally. Wondered if theme entries were held to a stricter standard. Sounds like that is not the case. Thanks.
mmcbs:
Well, if you have two theme entries with IN and others without, your theme may be a little unbalanced. Some editors are very strict on the format/balance of the theme entries. I just depends on what the theme is. If you'd like me to take a look at it, feel free to send me a private message (or use the contact link on my web site below).

How about "the"? I have 3 theme entries (all quotations) in a 21 X 21 puzzle. The word "the" appears
as the first word in a 21-letter entry and in the middle of a 19-letter entry. The word "in" appears in
the middle of two 21-letter entries. I was thinking that if the entries are long and are quotations,
perhaps this "double use" would be OK?
