THEME: phrases contain prefixes of SPHERE
GOOD ONES:
Word that can follow {theme} SPHERE
Elementary fellow? SHERLOCK [I'd exchange fellow for "chap."]
Land at Orly? TERRE
BTW:
Lunchbox item SOUPTHERMOS [what's a soup thermos --- anything like a coffee, tea, or water thermos?]
Empty threat PAPER TIGER [it's the person not the threat, so the clue should indicate person: "All bark-no bite guy" or maybe just "Obama" --- sorry for politics] :'(
Floride & ETAT are not words in English, and NLER is not a word in any language.
CPA's office, perhaps STE [likely an abbr. of SUITE, but if so, most CPA's don't have suites; I'd go with "Magnate's office"]
I liked this puzzle for its scientific bent: exo-, thermo-, meso-, troposhpere as well as BOSONS.
RATING: ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
