| I'd like to make a point that maybe hasn't been emphasized enough in this forum. Whenever you are thinking about trying to get away with something -- say, an obscurity like TAHSIL or a gross-out like URINATE -- bear in mind that your competitors, at least those who have been around the block, are not trying to get away with anything. Even if TAHSIL and URINATE were marginally acceptable, using them would make your puzzle look shoddy when compared with puzzles constructed by people who work hard at avoiding entries that are marginally acceptable.
Don't try to get away with things. Be tough on yourself. And stay away from Google. It's evil. Nelson |
