How to Clue EBCD

(1/3) > >>

Can anyone think of a good way to clue EBCD? The best thing I can think of is to say something like "anagram of 2-5 of 26" or something like that. Unfortunately, I can't change the E to an A. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

That's a tough one indeed.

Mi Ti Do Re are the 'solmizations' of the 5th, 7th, 1st, and 2nd tones (EBCD) of the C major perhaps 'Mi Ti Do Re of sharpless/flatless major scale'...bit of a mouthful but if you're stuck it might do :-\

That sounds good. Thanks for the help!

Balder- no editor is going to accept EBCD as an entry. You have no choice but to come up with another 4 letter word or change the E to an A. You say you can't do this... Sorry, there's no alternatives. If you're not prepared to redo a section of the puzzle, large as that area may be, the puzzle would probably be unpublishable.

It is quite common for constructors to have to do extensive rework. Don't sweat it.

If you think its worth a shot, maybe you can post a 'screenshot' of that part of the grid...maybe somebody will see a way out.
