Monday Morning Quarterbacking

Three theme entries are much used expressions:

LONGSTORYSHORT
FLYBYNIGHT
DEADINTHEWATER

But COMEONDOWN is only a game show expression and not used otherwise. 

Instead of 6-letter COMEON [DOWN], I would have liked to see BIGLET [DOWN], which would better match the other three theme answers.   Of course, second guessing is just that.
