NYT Acrostics under OSX Lion

I've recently upgraded to Mac OS 10.7 (Lion). Now I can't see the acrostics on the NYT site. I've gone to Java Preferences and checked "Enable applet plug-in," but that doesn't fix the problem. There's just a big blank where the acrostic puzzle should appear.

The problem has disappeared (i.e., the puzzles themselves have appeared).
