Loud noises   DINS [The problem with using the first definition in Webster’s is that it may to be out of date.  Yes, it’s a denotation, by definition, but the connotation may have changed.  Sometimes an entry is preceded by a modifier that says often or usually, and that explains how a word is used now.  Din is not today used to describe a single loud noise, say a bomb blast, but a steady cacophony.

RATING:  ;D ;D Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = No fun
