 :-[ Theme was tricky at first.  I thought DBL DIP RECESSION, but DBL DECKER BUS didn't fit.  It was fun.

 ;) Established with “down”   PINS [I had the P and S, and added UT.  I was wrong, but I could’ve been right in the sense of “puts down roots.”]
