Good Ones!
"Major artery: Abbr."   EXPWY
"Totals"   WRECKS
"Some pens"    BICS
"Boring things"   AUGERS
"One might precede a tug"    BARGE
"Way to the Web"    MODEM

I wonder if the barely watchable Dead on Arrival is the most cited film in Xword history [DOA].

I think ELYSEE means school; if it does, what has it to do with Bastille Day?  If not, what does it have to do with Bastille Day?  ???

WHIZBANG means a person who is super (noun); I don't recall having seen or heard it meaning super (adjective).

"Time for a revolution?" for YEAR is very clever, and tough.  It took me awhile to understand that time refers to how long it takes for the Earth to revolve around the sun: a year.  :)

My French is limited, but LYCEE is "school". "ELYSEE" refers to the Avenue des Champs-
