Land by the sea  SHORE
Theme: PRO- and CON- in two-word terms
With “and” and [CON], both sides (and this puzzle’s title)   PRO

BEEEATER [I’m a bit of a bird brain yet never heard of such an animal --- though it’s a possible construction.]  LOOKED IT UP IN SIBLEY: NOT A NORTH AMERICAN BIRD BUT AN "OLD WORLD BIRD."
YEEHAWS [I know nothing about rodeos, but I doubt this is a word --- another possible construct, I guess.]

Author of muchas epistolas   SANPEDRO [no need for Spanish when place names are rife]

RATING:  ;D Three grins = Excellent: Loved it; Two grins = Good: Enjoyed it; One grin = Satisfactory: A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Unsatisfying: No fun
