Possible Title: Moving Answers

Theme: last parts of phrases make words of ways to run

Good Ones:
…football play {and theme}   END RUN [the run appears at the end of the phrase]

By the Way:
Nothing particularly clever by way of cluing, but more challenging than usual for a Wednesday.  Wonder if that’s an omen for the rest of the week.

Apply, as healing hands   LAYON [given the other challenging entries, I’d have liked to see “___, Macduff, and damned be he that first cries hold, enough!”

I remember Fred Gwynne best in My Cousin Vinny, an “essential” comedy.

Are DISHUP and “dish out” the same?
