Possible Title: Run-Ons

Theme: phrase can be read two ways depending on last word, beginning with S-

Good Ones:
Great diner food?   FIRSTCLASSEATS [EATS or SEATS]
What a hamster wheel requires?   ENDLESSPACE [SPACE or PACE]
It’s often about a yard   FENCE
Piece maker?   REESE [I thought gun]
Army unit   ANT [army ants, that is]
Black ball   EIGHT [in pool & note two words]
One might make a ewe turn   RAM
Chorus line   ALTO [on sheet music]
Sports figures   STATS [I thought STARS]

Who knew?:
ECHO means E in NATO speak.  Know anyone who speaks NATO?

“P.S. I Love You” was the B-Side.  It’s a very good song so I wonder what they thought was better.

Some Nits to Pick:
Cauldron stirrers  HAGS [I like this reference but it really needs a modifier --- perhaps “infamous”; “famous”; “grotesque”…  Otherwise “lefties” would be acceptable.

RATING:   ;D ;D ;D Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
