Good Ones:
Half a 45   BSIDE [45 rpm record]
Lab protection org.?   ASPCA [I thought OSHA for a second]
Low area?   LEA [animals sometimes low in meadows][note MOOS for “Lows”]
It may be broken on the road   LINE [I was slow to see it refers to the center line in a two-lane highway]

Theme: Baby talk replacing words in common phrases

By the Way:
ILICH [don’t know Russian or the niceties of its translation into English, but I see it only as Ilyich.  But a rose by any other name…

LINE: I don’t think they exist anymore, but 3-lane highways were called “suicide highways” because of the collisions they engendered.

Who knew?:
HOH means H2O.  I’d think it would at least be HHO, but I’m not a scientist.  Would OHH be AOK?

RATING:  ;D ;D Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
