THEME:   intrusive GA in phrases

GOOD ONES:
Carmichael…hit   GEORGIA ON MY MIND
Missed the bird's nest under the eaves?   FLEW INTO A GARAGE [happens once in a while at my home, but not for missing the eaves]
Druid baker's recipe?   PAGAN CAKE BATTER
They're full of beans  PODS [a passe idiom and less crude than what today is normative]
Like alpha, but not bravo  GREEK [never thought of that mix]
Where to get down   EIDER [guess "getting down" is no longer hep hip]

BTW:
Likely to elicit a nod?   BORING [the clue calls for a noun but the answer is an adjective --- yes, it can be a gerund, but that's too unlikely]

ICI non parle francais.

RATING:    ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
