Merl Reagle's Sunday crossword today contains several "Foreign Expressions For Dogs." He must have thought he had a cute theme. Sorry, Merl, the answers mixing dog-related words and foreign words were absolutely detestable. Two examples: FURBOTEN for "Strictly against the law, as shaving a dachshund?" and MUZZLETOV for "'Good luck keeping your dog from biting'?" These horrible puns had me howling!
