How to see if a theme has been done before?

If I wanted to see if types of cats have been done in a puzzle before how would I start in the search engine on this site? What would I type?

Go to the Puzzle Database on this website and type in cat types surrounded by asterisks in the search window. For example, the search

*Siamese*

would probably conjure up SIAMESE TWINS as an entry (I didn't check).  Click on all the puzzles containing these entries and see if the theme is the same as the one you are contemplating.  Good luck!
