THEME:   homage to Harold Ramis --- [I know, I know]
Fish found in a film   NEMO [found/"Finding Nemo"]
Stout sleuth…   WOLFE [he was rotund --- and rather a misogynist as I recall]
Don Ho "Yo"   ALOHA [clue rhymes]
AMA member?: Abbr.   AMER
I understand that Ramis died a few months ago, but he was, at best, a second tier film actor/director.  So I find it hard to understand why at least two people in the Xwords world thought dedicating a puzzle to him was a good idea or the best they could come up with --- or that anyone but some film buffs would care --- I'm one who doesn't.
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
