THEME:   last words of phrases rhyme; but unless one knows to look, it will go unnoticed

GOOD ONES:
Unpopular spots   ACNE

BTW:
EMF must be a new group;  ELO was referred to by their initials --- wonder if EMF ever is.    ???

Guess I've been pronouncing WOUK incorrectly since it would not rhyme with the other long O's.    ???

Why doesn't the LAT editor use titles for their puzzles M-Sa so themes will be looked for?    ???

RATING:    ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun

Thanks so much for your great review! Just so you know, EMF was a band from Gloucester, England, back in the late 1980s-early 1990s. "Unbelieveable" was their one hit song. Here's a link to the YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/v/waacof2saZw

As far as I know Herman Wouk pronounced his name as "Woke" as in time to get out of bed!

Thanks, Filer, for the pronunciation.  Wikipedia, not a very good source I admit, has Wouk pronounced as I used to.  But it's time I woke up. :-[
