THEME:   none

GOOD ONES:
Is not misused?   AINT
Silly goose or sitting duck   NOUN PHRASE
Door closer?   MAT [doormat]

BTW:
Fail to say   ELIDE ["Fail to articulate" might be better.  In speech, an elision concerns the omission of a letter or its sound, and we don't use "say" when referring to letters ("he didn't say an r"), but we use "say" when referring to whole words ("he didn't say hello").  Writing is different: Elide might mean fail to write or word or group of words.]

RATING: ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
