THEME:   enjambed phrases the middle letters of which are synonyms of labor

GOOD ONES:
Water container?   DIKE
Glamorous Gardener   AVA [note capital Gee]
Nice school   ECOLE [ecole is a fairly popular place name]
It has strings attached   BANJO [I'd have clued it "There are strings attached"]
Bath visitors   BIRDS [I thought the city]
Jean-etic material?   DENIM

BTW:
I'm almost certain Shakespeare used augurer instead of augur for Soothsayer, which makes sense to me.

RATING: ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
