Some of my recent rejections have said its the  same or too close to a theme already done. What's the best way of seeing if your theme may have  been tried?

worldofcrosswords:
I will usually check for my theme entries in the cruciverb database. If I find them, I'll look at the associated crossword to see if it's using my theme or if it's unrelated. I will also use crosswordtracker.
