THEME:   two-word phrases each of which are comprised of verbs which mean to clean

GOOD ONES:
Designed for two functions {and theme}   DOUBLEDUTY
Pooling vehicle   CAR [I thought van, cab but not the obvious]
Nora was his mistress   ASTA [not a human mistress; Asta was a dog]

BTW:
Not buying ACEDOUT as slang --- maybe it's in some book of slang --- but show me the money!
It's been awhile since I took French, undistinguisly I might add, but I thought the idiom was "mal a la tete."

RATING:  ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
